Personal Info:
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Character Info:
Name: Akira
Species: Wolf
Hair/fur: Brown
Eye color: Gold
Physical Description: Akira is a brown she-wolf, a white tuft of fur evident on her chest. Her face fades from brown to a black muzzle, and black insides of her ears, and her eyes are the typical expressive gold of wolves. She is rather large for a female wolf, weighing in at about 100 lbs, and standing just less than three feet tall.
Gender: Female
Approx. Age: 2
Character Personality: Akira is a gentle wolf, unless threatened or hunting. She has a commanding presence due to her size, and expects to be respected by other wolves. She has great respect for the wilds around her, including the creatures which she preys upon, and the creatures which would attack her. Soft spoken by nature (Think of the voice of the actress who plays Scully from X-Files, and Moro in the dub of Princess Mononoke), she is wise for a young wolf, and her low, mournful call carries with it the song of many more seasons than she has lived. She is wary of humans, steering clear as often as possible.
Origin: (will be supplied by staff upon Acceptance)
Sample RP:
The female blended well with the night, only her golden gaze shining in the pale moon. The season of winter was growing colder as she made her way across the snowy plains. The heat of Akira’s breath was visible in the chilled air as she panted softly. Large paws crunched over freshly fallen snow, and suddenly stopped as the she wolf froze, lifting her head, her ears twitching as they searched out the sound she had thought she detected. Her nose flared as she scented the air, searching out the scent of whatever it was she had heard walking in her direction.
Humans, several of them from the sound and smell she was detecting. They were heading her way from the north. Her sharp eyes glanced around, seeking an escape route, where were the woods closest to her? Off to the west, it seemed. She took a few steps back south, the direction she had been coming from, before turning and dashing to the west, snow flying out behind her as she ran. It wasn’t that she was afraid, not exactly, but humans were intelligent creatures, possibly more so than wolves. They could harness weapons separate from themselves, and thus needed to be respected, and given space.
However, the greater reason for caution was not the human’s intelligence, but their foolishness. They had long ago lost their capacity to communicate directly with the animals, and relied now on being able to detect the subtle hints conveyed through expressions. They sometimes regarded wolves as a threat, though Akira herself had no great taste for human flesh. The creatures didn’t even smell appetizing, and there was hardly enough meat on their bones to nourish a pack, should she ever find one.
She crouched in the shrubbery, watching as the humans approached, her ears flattened against her skull as she tried her best to hide from view. Fortunately her dark coat melted into the shadows, and she went undetected as the humans passed, carrying with them fire. A tool of great destruction, deserving great respect, and yet the humans had tamed it. This ability to tame even the most powerful of substances was what made man most dangerous of all. Once the threat had passed, she crept from hiding, cautiously sniffing at the air. The nauseating smoke from the flames stung her delicate nose.
“They’re out late for humans…the moon has already risen.” She said softly to herself as her gaze landed on the tracks the wanderers had left behind, “I wonder where they are heading…”
Her statement was no more than a passing quandary though, as she once more began trekking north. She was hungry, and in search of a meal. And if she was lucky, she could perhaps find a pack to help her obtain that meal.
