(1) Some species live in groups, only the species this is true for will be allowed to live in a group, if you wish for an exception, please present your case to me, or one of the other staff, and we will discuss it.
(2) Herds and Packs are typically led by the strongest individuals. In the case of this board, the founders will be the leaders of the herd or pack. Though they may be challenged for the role as the head by other members of the same species, either within the group, or from outside.
(3) For founding a herd/pack, the following rules apply (founding numbers refer to actively RPed members.):
• Wolves need only two members (one male one female) to found a pack, and their pack may be no larger than ten members. They must obey the pack order that wolves follow, though there is allowed to be some vying for position.
• Caribou travel in massive herds, and therefore no size restriction is place upon their groups. At least one male and two females must be in a group before it is classified as a herd.
• White tailed deer typically only travel in herds during the breeding season. However, for this RP, I will allow the herds to be permanent if it is desired. One male per herd, and at least one female. The herd may be no larger than four members, plus offspring.
• Elk also only herd during the mating season; the same rules apply for them as for White Tailed Deer.
• Bison travel in large herds, the same rules applying for them as do the Caribou.
• Wild Horses may have no more than 7 members per herd (plus Offspring). Two individuals of any sex are required to start the herd.
• Humans live in small family units, but also in larger tribes. The tribe will be responsible for regulating families, and traditions as to the formations of a family (i.e. weddings and such). At least two males and two females are required to found a tribe. Single family units may wander without tribe association, but must register their family with me as wanderers.
Note: Humans may also attempt to domesticate animals and incorporate them into the social structure, either as pets, or animals to be revered, etc.
(4) If you desire to found a group please fill out an application under the “Group Application” Sub-board. If you are accepted, you will receive your own sub-board from which to regulate the rules of your group, and keep an up to date listing of the members of your group, and the current leaders.
• Wolves and Humans, having more intricate social structures, will need a more in depth diagram of who holds what place within the group.
(5) Those desiring to join a group that has already been formed must get permission, during the course of RP, from the leaders of the group.
(6) After you become part of a group, please put your Group name in your signature.
